We've
been hearing a lot from our users a tool that can capture the overall
look and feel of a webpage/website would be very useful. It would
be particularly useful for website designers who wants to present a
milestone update to their clients. We are
happy to announce "K2PDF WebCapture"; a tool that allows anyone to
simply key in the webpage url of their choice, an output filename and
we do the rest for you.

While
WebCapture
is working hard to take a snapshot of your website, you will find an
Internet Explorer window appearing in front. Simply wait
patiently for the URL to finish loading; if the page is long enough
allowing one to scroll to the bottom, you will see
WebCapture quickly do that when the page finished loading. In any events, it is best to stay back, relax and observe.
While we found at times the Internet Explorer window may not close before
WebCapture
prompts you for the next question, most of the time it does. If
you find your Internet Explorer window sitting still not seem to be
doing anything, move it aside and proceed with answering
WebCapture's next question.
WebCapture
will prompt you for your email address to deliver your generated
PDF and also submit your captured image. Captured images
are stored in "c:\program files\kinati\webcapture\" folder by default,
or wherever you installed your WebCapture applicaiton. Here is a
sample captured image of our site:
